The importance of modeling the essence of an enterprise on a level that abstracts over operational details is increasingly being recognized. Two well-known enterprise modeling approaches that center around the notion of economic value are REA (Resources, Events, Agents) and the e3-value tool set.
The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers with an interest in value modeling and business ontologies in order to present and discuss the current state of enterprise modeling and to identify key areas for further research. We welcome both theoretical advances, as well as reports about practical applications of value modeling, for instance in e-commerce, auditing, business process management or compliance monitoring.
Fees for the workshop are € 100 per person. The fees cover coffee breaks, workshop lunches and the workshop dinner at Monday evening. Guests for the workshop dinner pay an additional €50.
The fee must be paid either in cash or by debit card (PIN) at registration, on Monday morning. We have an electronic payment machine. The fee covers coffee breaks, workshop lunches and the workshop dinner at Monday evening. Workshop papers will be published through a website.
